Christmas is coming real soon!

Ooh, I can't wait! Only one more sleep! I've been SO excited today!! Mummy and Daddy have let me rummage through the presents under the tree. I have no idea if the presents are for me or not, I just love the shiny wrapping paper!

Hello cheeky!

Bouncy bouncy!

Here's something new for me to learn.... how to use a bouncer! At the moment I just bob about a bit... when I've got the hang of it, I'll make a video to show off!

Feeding time at the zoo!

I'm getting a big boy now so I need a little extra in my belly. As well as good old mother's milk, I'm also on baby rice and pureed veg. This week, I've been mostly eating carrots! Can you tell?!!

There's nothing I like better than waking up at 6am (an hour early) and going downstairs for a work out on my gymn. This morning I added a new skill to my routine... a roll! Infact I did six on the trot. I hope you enjoy this one, the first ever to be captured on video! Listen out for Daddy's silly voices... he treats me like a baby!

Sunday Roast!

Lunch, Chez Rez!

Mummy, Daddy and me popped over to Auntie Sarah's new pad for a spot of Sunday lunch. Nanny Irene, Grump-pa Mike and Great-Grandad George came along too! Auntie Sarah rustled up fantastic roast chicken, roast tatties, a swede parnip coriander mash, greens and carrots with white wine & ginger... mmm! To top it off, a choice of apple tart or apple pie for pud (cooked in advance by Grump-pa Mike!) I opted to just have a sleep!

Happy Birthday to my Uncle Harry, who is now a teenager... wow!

...& a belated Happy 1st Birthday to Manon who's party I attended today! Festivities in the UK were put on hold until now as she spent the summer with her mummy and daddy sunning it up in the south of France... nice! Well, somewhere near there anyway!

My first swim!

I had my first swim today at the local pool with Mummy and Daddy, it was a bit cold to start with but I soon got the hang of it. I did a bit of crawl but spent most of my time perfecting my backstroke!

Bank Holiday Bonanza

Friends of the Family Hadley came down to stay for the Bank Holiday weekend. Although avid followers of this blog from the start, it was the first chance for Ben, Ray & Luke to see me in person!

I had my first Regatta in Dartmouth...

...and made sure I went home for a sleep before the party started!

We met up at the Double Locks for a spot of lunch....

Congratulations to Kate and John - married today!

Tonight I went to my second wedding in as many weeks! It was another fantastic affair... a grand setting in rural South Devon with delicious food and great company. I didn't get chance to dance but I did get my first taste of Tom Jones... "It's not unusual!" It was also a good laugh seeing the whole of the wedding party doing "The Locomotion" in a long line in the marquee... then into the garden... and back into the marquee again!

A Tale of Two Aunties

I had a number of visitors today... Uncle Robin called by with Auntie Candy to see me. I was a bit noisy and quite a handful but Mummy and Daddy assured them I wasn't always this grumpy!

And I wasn't any quieter when Great Auntie Sandra called round with lots of pressies and a cuddly toy for me. We did have chance for a cuddle though!

My First Car!

Imported from gay Paris by Nanny Irene and Grump-pa Mike, I took possession of my first set of wheels today. Straight from the dealership on the Champs-Elysee, I have my first Renault... eighth French car (sorry Great-Grandad George!) and fourth Clio for the Hadley family! Auntie Sarah treated me to the keyring!

Now all I need is someone to teach me to drive... perhaps I could twist Grump-pa Mike's arm?!!

Congratulations to Laura and Brad - married today!

Tonight I went to Laura and Brad's Wedding at Broomhill Art Hotel in Barnstaple. It was a fantastic location with a really nice atmosphere so I was well chilled out with Daddy in my papoose. I met lots of new friends who all agreed I had a lot of hair!

Well done again to Laura and Brad for tying the knot and I'm sure they'll have a great time on their honeymoon touring Spain.

Meeting me Uncle Robin at last!

Safely back from his escapades in Europe (and a narrow escape from the grips of a mugger in Amsterdam!) I finally got to meet my Uncle Robin! Looking forward to meeting Auntie Candy!

Busy day today

I am now a real person... it's official! Went into town to get my birth certificate today, full name: FINNIGAN ARTHUR HADLEY, but hey, you can still call me Finn!! Going to apply for my passport next so that I can travel the world and the seven seas.

And speaking of travelling, I did it in style today. Daddy carried me around in a papoose... we were close together all afternoon... photos to follow!

Mummy's friends from work, Leanne and Michelle came round today. They brought with them lots of cards, pressies and... another baby!! Ollie is four months older than me and I'm sure we'll be great mates!
